LAHORE: Household items and electronic appliances worth thousands of rupees were gutted in three different house fire incidents on Sunday. Fire broke out in the house of one Abbas in Shahdara and Shafqiue in City Raiwind due to short circuit. Upon being informed, the firefighters rushed to the spots and extinguished fire. No casualty was reported in the said incidents.
THREE BODIES FOUND: Three men were found dead in various parts of the city. Two men were found dead in the limits of Bhatti Gate police. A 65 year-old man was recovered dead from Bird Market and a 55-year-old man was found dead in Bhatti Bazar. Police claimed that both the men, yet to be identified, were addicts who might have died of excessive use of drugs. Similarly, a 30-year-old man was found dead in the limits of Islampura police. Police claimed that the man, yet to be identified, was an addict and excessive use of drugs had claimed his life. Police shifted the bodies to morgue for autopsy.
LAWYER KIDNAPPED: A lawyer was kidnapped by four unknown car riders in Nawab Town area. Police said that four unidentified car riders had kidnapped Advocate Nisar. Police have registered a case against the unknown kidnappers.
