Police file supplementary charge-sheet against Farooq Sattar, Amir Khan
By News desk
KARACHI: The Police accused Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) chief Dr Farooq Sattar and Amir Khan of inciting riots in the city on August 22, 2016.
The Police on Saturday filed a supplementary charge sheet against the accused in an anti-terrorism court accusing the two of hate speech alongside the London based MQM founder.
They informed the court that the two leaders complied with the inflammatory speech of MQM founder instead of trying to defuse the situation. The police also termed their claims of separating from the London based MQM as "untrue". After hearing the arguments, the judge adjourned the hearing till January 20.
