Inter-community extravaganza
NEW JERSEY: The South Asian community living in the US is organizing a week-long holiday celebration extravaganza starting 21st December under the banner of South Asian Community Outreach (SACO).
According to a press release, rvery year SACO organizes this event in New Jersey aimed at promotion of international peace. Other communities living in the US are also invited. SACO President Waseem Khan, who is a popular figure among the South Asian community, says the purpose of this event is to bring different communities together to have some fun and also try to find solutions to various problems being faced by the diaspora in the US. He said SACO tries to play the role of a bridge between different communities to bring them closer to each other.
