Dominators Cup main attraction today

LAHORE: The Dominators Cup is the main attraction out of the seven races going to be held at Lahore Race Club’s course on Sunday.

The cup race did not have any favourites for it being for the new breed of ponies while the other competitions are the place races. I Swear will start as favourite of the opening race of the day.

Its foremost challenges maybe Sweet Miracle while for a place everyone believes Love Master have a great chance of becoming second.

In the second race of the day, Fakhar-e-Niaz Baig is believed to be the better pony of all the participants. Artistic Flight is expected to take the second place while Zil-e-Huma may spring a surprise.

The third race of the day has Aye Desert as the best bet for win while Poetry may take the place with Payara Jutt having a tag of fluke may spoil the party of the favouirtes.

Dazzling Gold is seen taking the first place in the fourth race and its glitter may fade out in front of Dula Princess, which is believed winning the second place. Cat’s Eye that has several win under its belt is there with a fluke.

The fifth race of the day is the Dominator Cup. Having a field of eight upcoming baby horses, none of them is marked as favourite. But having an outside assessment of the competitors, Four Star is believed to be the best, These eight ponies are of two years age each and no one is favourite but the likely chance of win rests with Four Star

The sixth race of the day has Delectable as the favouirte pony and it will be challenged by Don’t Stop Me and Proposal. The latter two ponies are expected to take the second place and a surprise win respectively.

The final run has Bonny Light as the favouirte pony while Banjo may take the second place and Mr Danzing is expected to have an upset.
