APS martyrs remembered

PESHAWAR: Gandhara Hindko Board (GHB) Saturday held a condolence reference and offered fateha for the martyred of Army Public School.

The condolence reference, chaired by Vice Chairman of the board, Dr Salah Uddin, was attended by staff members of GHB and Gandhara Hindko Academy (GHA).

The staff members prayed to rest the departed souls in eternal abode with peace and grant courage to family victims.

It is worth mentioning that GHA has also published a book, Nannian Konplan (Young buds) to pay tribute to APS victims.

Excerpts were also read out from the book highlighting the sacrifices of innocent children and teachers who lost their lives in the gory incident.

ABBOTTABAD: National Assembly Deputy Speaker and Khyber Phaktunkhawa PML-N General Secretary Murtaza Javed Abbassi on Saturday here paid rich tributes to martyrs of Army Public School Peshawar on their third death anniversary being observed with immense respect in KP, Fata and other parts of the country.

He said that martyrdom of the innocent students and other staff members of the Army Public School (APS) was a brutal act and we will always remember the sacrifices offered by students of APS, says a press release.

Murtaza Javed Abbassi said the tragedy has made irreparable loss and sacrifices offered by the brave students would not go waste.

He said APS students sacrifices had united the nation in the fight against terrorism. The Deputy Speaker said, “We stand with the victims families and would not left them alone”.
