Two bikes, car recovered

LAHORE: The personnel of Dolphin Squad and Police Response Unit conducted snap checking of vehicles on Friday and recovered two stolen bikes and a car.

The personnel also arrested three persons on charges of doing wheelie.Farewell: Inspector General of Police, Punjab, Arif Nawaz has said there has been excellent improvement in the Police Department due dutiful and honest officers.

He said this while addressing a farewell ceremony held at Central Police Office on Friday on transfer of Additional IG Operations, Punjab, Mohsin Hassan Butt and DIG Establishment II Salman Ch.

The IG said that both officers performed their duties with devotion and proved their unparalleled professionalism during their tenure at Punjab Police Department. The IG awarded them honorary shields.

PHP Additional IG Amjad Javaid Saleemi, DIG Operations Amir Zulfiqar and other officers also attended the event and expressed their best wishes for both officers. The services of Mohsin Butt have been handed over to the federal government and the services of Salman Ch to KP Police.
