Islamabad: Pakistan Tourism Development Corporation (PTDC) Managing Director Chaudhry Abdul Ghafoor Khan met Chief of the Air Staff Air Chief Marshal Sohail Aman and said that the role of Air Force in Pakistan’s protection in air is ideal and professional.

Pakistan's pilots' skills and efficiency are guaranteed to protect the country. Aviation and tourism are connected with each other for tourism and we need support of Pakistan Air Force for the purpose.

PAF holds skiing competition every year at Naltar and PAF may also consider holding air shows in tourist events and exhibitions. The PTDC has 30 kanal land at Naltar, which we intend to setup tourist resort so that participants of skiing competitions and other tourists can be provided with facilities. We required two retired fighter planes for display at PTDC's under construction headquarter in Islamabad. In addition, we also intend to sign a Memorandum of Understanding with PAF so that both the organisations can work together for the promotion of tourism in the country.

Air Chief Marshal Sohail Aman appreciated the efforts of PTDC and said that the restoration of tourism activities in Pakistan is overwhelming and hopefully MD PTDC will further develop tourism in Pakistan. He assured maximum possible cooperation of PAF in the field of tourism to PTDC.
