Oath-taking

Islamabad: Oath-taking ceremony of the Students Council 2017 was held at Islamabad Model College for Girls (PG), F-7/4, says a press release.

Former principal Farhat Mujtaba was the chief guest on the occasion. Fiaz Sheikh, managing director, Special Education, faculty members and students attended the function.Function started with the recitation of Holy Quran by Farhana Sami and ‘naat’ by Hina Arif Abbasi. In first half of function student of the council took oath. The elected office bearers are: President Hadina Shahid, Vice President Mahnoor Abdullah, General Secretary Bariha Minahil, Joint Secretary Hafsa Fayaz, Urdu Debate Secretary Hajra Riaz, Urdu Dramatic secretary Madiha Khan, English Debate Secretary Ayesha Butt, English dramatic secretary Narmeen Tariq, Sport secretary Aneeta Batool, Vocal Secretary Zahra Batool, Bus Proctor Sidra Khan Rimsha Bashir.

Chief guest Farhat Mujtaba said it was an honour to be part of such function.Student council is a platform for students to prepare future leader of the nation. She congratulated the newly elected council member.
