LAHORE: Foreign qualified Dr Ghazala Rubi has been appointed as Director Research in Central Research Medical Laboratory of Post Graduate Medical Institute (PGMI) the Lahore General Hospital (LGH).
According to a press release issued on Wednesday, Dr Ghazala did her PhD in Medical Research from United Kingdom. She recently presented her research and read her papers in United States.
In this context her posting as Director Research at PGMI is being considered a breakthrough. Principal PGMI Prof Ghias-un-Nabi Tayyab congratulated Dr Ghazala and said Central Research Medical Laboratory has international standard equipments and the post of Director Research would ultimately advance the field of research. He said annually more than one crore rupees were being spent on medical research in this laboratory.
