UVAS innovation support centre

Lahore : The University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS) Lahore has signed the agreement for the establishment of Technology and Innovation Support Centre (TISC) Network in Pakistan.

The ceremony was jointly organised by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) and the Intellectual Property Organization (IPO), Pakistan. Some 20 universities across Pakistan have signed the agreement.

Federal Minister for Education and Professional Training Muhammad Baleegh-ur-Rehman was the chief guest at the ceremony. Speaking on the occasion, he emphasized the importance of quality education and protection of the innovative ideas and product development.

hospitals security: Lahore SP Security Ammara Athar has said focal persons and security officers of hospitals to keep in touch with the police to avoid any emergency. Security branch is directed to complete the audit of all hospitals soon. She was addressing a session to review security arrangements of the hospitals. Some 300 focal persons and security officers of hospitals were present.
