NOWSHERA: Pakistan People's Party (PPP) leader and former provincial minister Liaqat Shabab on Wednesday retracted his resignation as the party office-bearer. The sources said he took back his resignation after holding a meeting with the PPP President Asif Ali Zardari in Islamabad.
Asif Ali Zardari had convened a meeting of the PPP Khyber Pakhtunkhwa chapter leaders in Islamabad. PPP provincial president Humayun Khan, general secretary Faisal Karim Kundi and PPP Peshawar division president Liaqat Shabab were invited to the meeting to discuss the situation.
Zardari's political secretary Rukhsana Bangash and former Khyber Pakhtunkhwa PPP president Sardar Ali Khan were also present in the meeting.
