Rawalpindi: The motels of Pakistan Tourism Development Corporation (PTDC) are being up-graded to provide every possible facility to the tourists, said PTDC Managing Director Ch. Abdul Ghafoor Khan while talking to media men after briefing Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi on tourism.
He pointed out that City Tour Bus Service for Islamabad will be launched this month that will facilitate students and families visiting federal capital. Earlier, in his meeting with the PM, the PTDC managing director briefed him that PTDC being a foreign exchange earning organisation and above all its affiliation with UN-World Tourism Organization and other international Bodies has increased its importance manifolds.
The Prime Minister appreciated the efforts of Ch. Abdul Ghafoor Khan for promotion and development of tourism in the country. The Prime Minster said that PTDC should up-grade the existing facilities like hotels and motels and discover new avenues ensuring provision of modern facilities to tourists.
