The annual meeting of the Provincial Accreditation Committee, held under the chairmanship of Imran Atta Soomro, secretary of the Sindh Information & Archives Department, on Tuesday, decided that the department would write letters to all channels and print media to send the names of journalists, photographers/cameramen for the issuance of accreditation cards. The committee said the names should be finalised and provided within one week so that the process could be started to facilitate the journalists from January 1, 2018. It also decided that accreditation cards would not be issued to government servants according to decisions of the apex courts.
