Woman, son shot dead in Swat

MINGORA: A woman and her step son were shot dead at Matta tehsil in Swat district on Saturday night, official sources said.

It was learnt that Husan Jamala Bibi and her step son identified as Taj Maluk were asleep at their house in Nokhara Gura area when unidentified gunmen forced their entry into the house and opened fire on them.

As a result, Husan Jamala Bibi and Taj Maluk were killed on the spot.

The accused managed to flee the scene. Motive behind the dual killings could not be ascertained.The police registered the case and started investigation.
