ISLAMABAD: Leader of the Opposition in National Assembly Syed Khursheed Shah said on Wednesday that it was regrettable that judiciary and other institutions have adopted different attitude and principle of justice for Sindh in comparison with others.
“We have seen that despite serious cases against Nawaz Sharif and his family in the courts of law, neither any arrest was made nor their names were put on the Exit Control List while on the other hand Sharjeel Memon (from Sindh) voluntarily presented himself before the court but he was not getting justice,” he said while talking to newsmen in his Chamber at the Parliament House on Wednesday.
The Opposition leader said that these cases were the test for the judiciary and now no double standards will continue. It is our history that justice is given on the basis of personality, faces and affiliation. “It was regrettable that our institutions were dividing us in bigger and smaller provinces and it is not a good omen for the future of federation,” he said.
