It is good to note that work on the Pakistan Kidney Liver Institute and Research Centre in Lahore is going at a fast pace. It is hoped that the institute will be operational by December 2017. This mega project will provide modern treatment to patients who are suffering from liver and kidney diseases. Under this project, around 100,000 hepatitis patients will receive free medicines at their doorsteps.
The project will provide modern healthcare facilities to the people both in the rural and urban areas. It is hoped that once the project is completed, it will bring a positive change to the medical field of Pakistan.
