LAHORE: The 32nd Maple Leaf ITF Seniors World Ranking Tennis Championship 2017 began with wins for Shehzad Khan, Asher Ali Khan in Men’s singles here at Bagh-e-Jinnah Courts on Wednesday.
Results: Men’s singles 35 plus (semi finals): Shehzad Khan beat Syed Hadi Hussain Rizvi 6-0, 6-1, Asher Ali Khan beat Humayun Rana 6-2, 5-7, 6-1.
Men’s doubles 35 plus (1st round): Shehzad Khan/Irfanullah Khan beat Talha Waheed/Mehboob Waheed 6-4, 4-6, 1O-7
Men’s singles 40 plus (semifinals): Talha Waheed beat Mehboob Waheed 6-3, 6-1, Shakeel Muhammad beat Fayyad Khan 7-5, 6-2
Men’s singles 45 plus (semifinals): Rashid Malik beat Irfanullah Khan 6-2, 6-2, Jehanzeb Khan beat Sajjad Rasul 6-2, 6-2
Men’s singles 50 plus (2nd round): M Arif beat Hussain Qurashi 6-3, 6-1,
Men’s singles 60 plus (semifinals): Waqar Nisar beat Saeed Ikram 6-1, 6-0, Gull Hamid beat Shahid Mehmood 6-2, 6-2
Men’s singles 65 plus (semifinals): Asad Niaz beat Shahid Mehboob 6-2, 6-4.
