Encroachers warned

All shopkeepers, especially those running businesses in major trade centres and old city areas, should immediately remove any cabins or counters encroaching upon kerbs or roads, KMC Administrator Karachi Saqib Ahmed Soomro said at a briefing at his office on Tuesday.
He asserted that no offender would be spared by anti-encroachment officials and warned of serious financial repercussions for anyone found violating the orders.
As for the re-emergence of encroachments cleared out during drives, Soomro called for strict measures against anyone involved in such practices.
