Schools old timings restored

LAHORE :Punjab Schools Education Department has withdrawn the notification issued on November 7 about the change in school timings in all public and private educational institutions due to smog in Punjab with immediate effect.
A notification in this regard has been issued by the department. All the educational institutions shall now observe the school timings notified prior to the issuance of the said notification of November 7, 2017.
VC: Fatima Jinnah Medical University (FJMU) Vice Chancellor Prof Khalid Masood Gondal called on Higher Education Commission (HEC) Chairman Dr Mukhtar Ahmad to discuss upcoming policies of the university. According to a press release, Prof Khalid said the university was striving to meet the standards as suggested by the HEC. He expressed his vision to make the university one of the leading medical universities at national and international level.
