‘Science Fair’ concludes

CHITRAL: The ‘Science Fair’ concluded here on Sunday with distribution of prizes among the educational institutions winning positions in various subjects and projects.
It was organised by the Shaheed Usama Career Academy at Government Centennial Model School here. Students from a number of public and private schools and colleges participated in the Science Fair.
Assistant Commissioner Abdul Akram Khan, Deputy District Education Officer Mumtaz Ahmed Wardag, Frontier Corps Public School Principal Rahimullah and others spoke on the occasion.
They said the students of Chitral, both male and female, had talent but there was a need to provide them opportunities to explore and exploit their capabilities and potentials.
“This is the age of competition and only those can succeed in life, who are diligent and talented enough to acquire the modern day scientific and technological education,” a speaker said.
Later, Abdul Akram Khan, Mumtaz Ahmed Wardag, Rahimullah, Javed Hayat, Prof Uzma Sher, Zaheeruddin and others gave away prizes to the male and female students of various educational institutions of the district.
