One who changes loyalty becomes worthless: Saad
LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) central leader and Railways Minister Khwaja Saad Rafiq has said whosoever will change his political loyalty will lose his worth and respect (in the eyes of the public). Talking to the media here on Sunday, he said some people were making calls to their colleagues (for changing their loyalties), but the party was not taking any action as it did not want to open any new front in the country. He said the PML-N was united like a rock under the leadership of former premier Nawaz Sharif.
He said new delimitation of constituencies would not benefit any political parties but the democratic system in the country. He said after the completion of population census, delimitation of constituencies had become a legal requirement, which was being fulfilled. He said political parties, after consultations, also agreed on completing the process. He said no snap elections could be held without completing the process of delimitation of constituencies, and those calling for before-time polls were ignorant of the law and the Constitution.
He said Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf also talks of on-time, and not before-time, elections in their private sittings.
