Governor lauds PRCS services

PESHAWAR: Appreciating the humanitarian role of the Pakistan Red Crescent Society (PRCS), Governor Iqbal Zafar Jhagra on Saturday said that it always proved a support to the government in emergency situations.
He was talking to Muhammad Farid Khan Wazir, chairman of the Fata Branch of the society, at Governor’s House.
Muhammad Farid Khan was also accompanied by some of the members of the managing committee of the branch, including Gul Mahsud, Asghar Afridi and Attaullah Wazir, said a handout.
Referring to the detailed briefing given by the chairman of the Fata Branch of the society on its working in the area, the governor said that though their humanitarian services were impressive, there is need to further streamline its performance.
