It’s our fault

November 17, 2017
We are often too quick to blame the government for everything which is wrong in our country that we do not pay attention to our mistakes. It will not be wrong to say that the garbage crisis in the city is not entirely the fault of the government. We are equally responsible for creating a mess which has created so many problems for the people. Throwing out trash through windows of our vehicles has become quite common in our city. People who are eating in their cars do not think twice before rolling down their car windows and throwing wrappers and plastic plates or glass out of the window. Almost every public space is covered with heaps of garbage – thanks to our people who lack basic civic sense.
Littering is a combination of laziness and ignorance. We fail to realise that it is major cause of environmental pollution. The people should stop this practice and also discourage those who do so. Not only that, people should pick up trash whenever they see it and throw it in a dustbin. Although this may be a bit frustrating, it might encourage someone else to follow the example.
