Official warns peace bodies not to issue notices without consulting admin

BARA: A senior official of the Khyber Agency political administration on Thursday warned the peace committee members belonging to Bara tehsil against sending notices to the local people without consulting the officials.
Talking to reporters, Political Agent Khyber Agency Khalid Mehmood said the tribespeople had lodged the complaint against the local peace committee members.
He said the political administration had some reservations over the activities of the peace committee members as many people had lodged complaints against them."The peace committees send illegal notices to the people without consulting the administration, causing problems for the people," he said.
