KARACHI: The Pakistani food ordering company EatOye announces on Wednesday that it has been acquired by foodpanda, according to a press from the company.
With a 682 percent growth in orders in 2014, it is among the fastest growing online food ordering companies globally is among the best IT companies in hospitality in the Asia Pacific region, according to the press release.
The company has more than 1,000 restaurants in 15 cities in Pakistan, the press release said, and processes over 30,000 transactions per month in the country’s Rs15 billion food market.
Together with foodpanda.pk, it added, the two brands will offer the most convenient way to order food in over 15 Pakistani cities.
