NAB files reference against travel agents

PESHAWAR: The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Friday filed a reference against the travelling agents for depriving people of Rs33.265 million.
The NAB filed reference against Amir Ahmed Shah, Shahid Hussain, Humayun Khan and Naveed Akhtar owner of Al-Mustafa Manpower Agency in the Accountability Court, Peshawar.
As per detail, the accused were running a fake travel agency Manpower Agency in Charsadda. The accused collected Rs330,000/-per person for sending them for Haj and Umrah. When the victims reached their office in Charsadda for collection of their visa and passport they found the accused disappeared from the scene and deprived dozens of people from their hard earned money. The NAB pursued the inquiry and arrested the culprits.
