TTP Malakand deputy chief killed

MINGORA: The deputy chief of the proscribed Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) for Malakand division Gul Karim was killed in a clash with the security forces in Batkhela, sources said on Monday. They said the security forces were conducting a search operation in Manzar Baba area when the militant commander Gul Karim fired at the security personnel. The sources said the personnel of the security forces returned the fire that killed Gul Karim. He was wanted to the police and law-enforcements agencies in a number of acts of terror that had taken place in Malakand division.
