FU holds funfair
Islamabad: Foundation University (FU) Islamabad Campus organised a funfair to commemorate HEC’s as well FU’s 15th Anniversary which attracted large number of students from FU and various other Universities. Major General (r) Akhtar Waheed, HI(M), director of FU was the chief guest.
Students setup various educational stalls, fun stalls, gaming stalls, art stalls and food court. Participants of the event enjoyed different segments till late evening. The chief guest admired the efforts of the students and said such activities play a vital role in the personality building and grooming of the students. He highlighted various achievements of the FU since its inception and praised the role of HEC in promoting higher education and research in the country. The day ended with thought provoking ideas, extensive learning, fun and excitement.
In the closing ceremony Administrator FUIC, Brigadier (r) Gulraze Sultan Lodhi distributed the prizes among students.
