RDA advises public not to invest in illegal projects

Rawalpindi: Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) has advised general public that they should not invest in illegal building project of Al-Khalil Tower and QJ Heights, as these projects are declared illegal.

The Director (MP&TE), RDA Jamshaid Aftab has directed owner of Al-Khalil Tower, and owner of QJ Heights We-Group in Rawalpindi to stop illegal construction work at sites.

He clarified the status of all under constructions sites of Al-Khalil Tower, and QJ Heights We-Group in Rawalpindi is illegal/unauthorised. RDA has advised general public in their own interest that they should not make any investment in any illegal/unauthorised buildings projects and housing schemes which status illegal declared by RDA. Otherwise they themselves are responsible for their losses.

Commissioner Rawalpindi Division/Director General (DG) RDA Talat Mahmood Gondal has directed the Enforcement Wing to take strict action against illegal commercial and residential construction activities and encroachments without any fear or favour. RDA has issued notices to Sh Jalil Ahmad, owner of Al-Khalil Tower, and Qaiser Jabbar, owner of QJ Heights, Rawalpindi to stop illegal construction work and advertisements.
