Monsoon currents still penetrating parts of country
LAHORE: Partly cloudy weather was observed in the city here Thursday while Met office predicted similar weather conditions for the next 24 hours.
Met officials said seasonal low lies over North West Balochistan while moderate monsoon currents are still penetrating upper parts of the country. A westerly wave is also affecting upper parts of the country. Met officials predicted that mainly hot and humid weather is expected in most parts of the country while rain-thunderstorm is expected at isolated places in Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Lahore, Sargodha, Faisalabad, Malakand, Hazara, Peshawar, Multan, Dera Ghazi Khan, Zhob divisions, Islamabad, Fata, GB and Kashmir.Rainfall was recorded in several cities, including Toba Tek Singh, Faisalabad, Sargodha, Gujranwala, Murree, Chakwal, DG Khan and Okara.
