Government hospitals

The performance of government hospitals in the country is unsatisfactory. Absenteeism of doctors has created so many difficulties for the patients that need emergency treatment. The same is the case of Civil Hospital, Khairpur. Some senior doctors of the hospital have opened their private clinics and they prefer to see patients there.

After waiting for hours for a doctor, patients have no other option than to visit doctors at their private clinics. Or, if doctors are present, they refer a patient to their private clinics for follow-up treatment. The relevant authorities must look into the matter.
