The rupee posted gains against the dollar in the interbank market on Tuesday on soft dollar demand by importers, currency dealers said. The rupee rose eight paisas to 105.32/dollar from 105.40 during the previous trading session.
Dealers said the currency gained grounds, tracking insignificant demand for foreign exchange reserves from importers and companies.
