Three houses burnt

Lahore: Household items worth thousands of rupees were reduced to ashes when fire broke out in three houses in different parts of the city on Sunday. Household items worth thousands of rupees were burnt when fire broke out in the houses of one Amir in the Sanda area, Rizwan in North Cantt and Azhar in Township areas. The cause of the fires was stated to be short circuits. Firefighters rushed extinguished the fires after hectic efforts. No casualty was reported in the incidents.
