Islamabad :A team of AGAHI met joint secretary of the Senate Secretariat Nelofar S. Hafeez and discussed future policy research and development.

AGAHI founder and president Puruesh Chaudhary briefed Ms. Nelofar on various projects undertaken by AGAHI, including Pakistan State of Future Index (PK-SOFI) providing an analytic view of the 30 variables being researched for the Index.

Special emphasis was placed on people-centric policies, the government's approach, as well as citizenry participation in resolution of issues within the societal scope.

During the meeting, there was a focused understanding on the need for an institutionalised approach overcoming rudimentary challenges faced by the people of Pakistan using decision-making tools based on data driven foresight research. AGAHI had earlier requested for the meeting with Senate Secretariat's research department.
