Two dead in road crash
Two lives were lost in a road accident reported in the city’s Liaquatabad area on Monday. As per officials, the accident occurred near the Liaquatabad Bridge and involved a car and a motorcycle. They said the speeding car had rammed into the motorbike at high speed leaving two people with critical injuries. The two victims, identified as 30-year-old Amaan and 22-year-old Rasheed, were said to have passed away on the spot before medical help could arrive. Their bodies were shifted to the Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for legal formalities.
Body found
The dead body of an unidentified man was found dumped near the Jamali Flyover, Sohrab Goth. Sachal police station’s SHO Shakir Ali said the partially decomposed body had been retrieved from the location and taken to the Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for an autopsy. The officer said the victim was yet to be identified as no document was found on him but efforts were underway to this end.
