LAHORE: Dr Asim Dilawar Bakhshi, a renowned writer, educationist and computer engineer, won Urdu Science Award initiated by Urdu Science Board, announced here the other day.
He was awarded Rs50,000 for his book written on science articles. Urdu Science Board called manuscripts from science writers and translators in Urdu for Urdu Science Award. Urdu Science Board received a number of books from various science writers from all over the country. After scrutinising the manuscripts, the selection committee chose “Nai Zameenon ki Talash” as the best book written by Dr Asim Dilawar Bakhshi. Dr Asim Bakhshi holds a PhD in computer science and teaches in different universities in Islamabad.
