Islamabad: The Al-Khidmat Razi Hospital, a mega welfare project of Al-Khidmat Foundation Pakistan (Islamabad chapter) will start its operation in middle of cluster of housing societies within the next two weeks.
President Al-Khidmat Foundation Islamabad, Muhammad Nasarullah told newsmen on Wednesday that the hospital along with various other departments would start its function with 60-bed indoor facility.
Dr. Iftikhar Ahmad Burni and Professor Athar Shaikh were also present on the occasion. He said the hospital building has being raised in CBR housing scheme which is located in middle of 15 housing societies having population of over 1.5 million.
He said the needy people would be provided free treatment whereas facilities for all other patients would be available on highly subsidized rates as compared to other private hospitals.
The basic idea behind establishment of the hospital is Mother and Child Health Care and as
such it would have latest treatment facilities at gynaecology and child department.
To start with, the Al Khidmat Hospital latest pathology lab, eye, ENT, skin, dentist, general medicine and general surgery OPDs and a state of the art operation theatre, emergency ward and labour rooms. “We have also acquired services of qualified consultants of all these departments,” Nasarullah said. About future plans, the Al-Khidmat official said they also plan facilities of kidney transplant, cardiac surgery, dialysis, C T Scan and MRI facilities in few years to come.
