PESHAWAR: A candle light vigil was held for the transgender who was killed in Nowshera on Tuesday.
The TransAction, an alliance of transgender and intersex community, had organised the event.
The 17-year-old transgender Adnan Alias Sufaid was shot dead on August 14 in Kheshgi area in Nowshera district. A large number of transgenders, members of civil society organisations and others attended the candlelight vigil.
Farzana Jan, president of TransAction Alliance, was also present. She condemned the killing and demanded exemplary punishment for those involved in the gruesome murder.
