Former cricketer Saleem Malik joins PML-Q

LAHORE: Former national cricketer Saleem Malik has joined Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid-e-Azam (PML-Q) on Wednesday.
Chaudhry Pervez Elahi, leader of PML-Q convened a meeting with Malik during which the ex-sportsman announced pledging his allegiance with the political party for according to him, it has the potential of taking the country forward in ever challenging times, reported a private TV channel. Saleem Malik had represented Pakistan in the international sport from 1987 to 1999.
