11,000 litre spurious milk seized
LAHORE: Punjab Food Authority (PFA) on Tuesday continued its crackdown on adulteration mafia and confiscated 11,000 litre fake milk.
Officials said PFA confiscated 11,000 litre fake milk from an ice factory in the Changa Manga area while raids were carried out at many food outlets in Lahore and other cities. They said at Taxali Gate, PFA team raided Shahid Qadir Mirza Nihari House and Al-Hafeez and Zafar Restaurants on Ferozpur Road and imposed heavy fine on them for various violations. Similarly, improvement notices were issued to Ejaz Khan Daal Chawal, Raffique Milk Shop, Achaa Milk Shop, Bilo Bakery, Data Ali Hajvery Milk Shop, Ghareeb Nawaz Hotel, Malik Jamal Milk Shop, Aslam General Store, Ramazan General Store, Chaudhry Traders, Ravi Dhabba, Al-Madina Milk Shop, Mushtaq Bakery, Dana Pani Mart, Sumir Juice Corner, Zakir Tikka, Al-Hafeez Restaurant, Italian Pizza, Goga Naqeebiya Murgh Chanye, Lajpal Naan Shop, Raza Tobbaco and Fauji Boung Pai.
