Unsafe Karachi

July 26, 2017
On Monday (Jul 24), unidentified men shot two traffic policemen at Abul Hasan Isphani Road. One of the policemen, Constable Mohammad Khan, died on the spot. The tragic incident has created a wave of sadness in the area. Khan was a soft and polite man who would perform his duty diligently. He was often seen giving directions to people, helping others to catch a bus or cross the road.
It is unfortunate that a great man left us too early. The relevant authorities must identify the people responsible for this attack and take serious action against them. If the lives of the people who provide security to citizens will be under threat, how will the country be able to have a secure and peaceful environment?
