ISLAMABAD: Opposition Leader in the National Assembly Syed Khursheed Ahmed Shah on Monday said that the ruling Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) wanted to achieve its specific political ends by building pressure on the national institutions.

Speaking to a private TV channel, he said the PML-N always tried to benefit from disagreements among different institutions.“I have time and again told the PML-N leadership that it will cause a big loss to the country, as the institutions are not so weak that ministers can intimidate them,” he said.

Khursheed said the attacks of PML-N leaders on the Supreme Court could not pressurise the Supreme Court. He said even in 200 years, no leader of Zulfikar Ali Bhutto’s calibre could born in the Sub-continent.

He said Bhutto was not involved in any case of corruption, offshore assets or money trail. The PPP leader said he only attended the Supreme Court proceedings for two hours on the request of other political parties.Shah claimed that Makhdoom Javed Hashmi suffered brain hemorrhage due to the pressure of PML-N.
