‘No disruption in POL items supply’
ISLAMABAD: The Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Resources on Monday said it is pursuing an effective strategy to maintain stocks of petroleum products to meet the country's day-to-day needs in a smooth manner.
“There is no disruption in supply of petrol and diesel across the country. Sufficient stocks of POL products are available to meet the country’s day to day needs,” Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Resources director general (oil) Abdul Jabbar Memon said in a statement.
He said, 210,000 metric tonnes petrol was available in stock, while four more shipments containing around 116,000 tonnes petrol had arrived at different ports. Memon said more than 400,000 metric tonnes diesel was available and the supply of petrol and diesel was smooth across the country.
