Zeeqad moon sighting likely today
Islamabad: There is a likelihood that the Islamic month of Ziquad will begin on July 25 (Tuesday).“According to astronomical parameters, the new moon of Ziquad 1438 AH will be born on the crossing conjunction point at 14:46 PST on July 23, 2017.
There is a chance of the sighting of the moon of Ziquad on the evening of July 24 i.e. the 29th of Shawwal, 1438 AH,” Abdul Rashid, director at the Climate Data Processing Centre of the Pakistan Meteorological Department, said.
The weatherman said according to the climate records, the weather was expected to be partly cloudy or cloudy in most parts of the country on July 24.The country’s main moon-sighting body, Central Ruet-i-Hilal Committee, is assisted by the Pakistan Meteorological Department, Pakistan Space and Upper Atmosphere Research Commission and Pakistan Navy.
