Phishing net
The FBR has warned taxpayers to remain cautious about fake emails. Recently, many taxpayers received fake e-mails that would ask them to clink on a link to contact the commissioner in land revenue. The FBR has declared that these emails are fake, and are being sent through fake e-mail accounts. These messages must be discarded and ignored. Only e-mails sent through official domain must be responded.
Such e-mails are famous for transmitting viruses to disable the computers and incur the loss of the data. Often these emails are sent to steal the sensitive information of a person. Taxpayers should remain vigilant so that they may not fall in the trap of this fraud. This is an extremely dangerous trend which must be dealt with by the authorities.
