‘Demand for PM’s resignation an insult to electorate’
Lahore: Pakistan is making progress by leaps and bounds under the leadership of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif.
These views were expressed by MPA and Women Caucus Punjab Chairperson Kanwal Nauman in a press conference at the office of DGPR on Friday. She said that with the cooperation of military’s leadership, the country was being made peaceful. She said the prime minister and the chief minister were elected by the people of Pakistan, and demand for resignation of the PM by opposition was insult of the people who gave their mandate to him. Only one family is passing through trial and accountability in the country, she added.
According to Kanwal Nauman, loadshedding duration had reduced during Nawaz era. Power plants have started producing electricity. Health, education, agriculture and industries were making progress under the leadership of Nawaz Sharif and Shahbaz Sharif, she said. She said PLML-N always respected judiciary. She said PTI delivered nothing in KP, and Imran Khan had nothing to show to the people of KP.
