The government must look into constructing water reservoirs so that Rawalpindi can have an alternate source of water. At present, the city relies on the supply of water from Rawal Dam. It must be mentioned that the city’s population is increasing at a fast pace.
The only source for the supply of water is not enough to meet the demand of the high population. Before the city faces the problem of acute water shortage, the authorities should take relevant steps to meet the city’s water requirement.
