‘Kucha area to be purged of criminals’
LAHORE: Inspector General of Police, Punjab, Captain (retd) Mohammad Usman Khattak has vowed tomake all-out efforts to purge the Kucha area of criminal elements and proclaimed offenders. Holding a meeting at the Central Police Office on Saturday, the IG pledged to establish the government writ in the Kucha area at any cost.
He said that Kucha operation in collaboration with Rangers had entered into the final round and they would utilise all possible resources to eliminate robbers and proclaimed offenders. He said that sacrifices of martyred officers would not go waste as the sacrifices had boosted themorale of the police force. He directed the officers to accelerate the pace of ongoing operation in Kucha and there should be no hurdle to providing additional resources to the police force to make the operation a success.
