LAHORE
Inspector General of Police Punjab Captain (retd) Mohammad Usman Khattak has vowed to make an all-out effort to purge the Kacha area of criminal elements and proclaimed offenders.
Holding a meeting at Central Police Office on Saturday, the IG pledged to establish the government writ in the Kucha area at any cost. He said that Kacha operation in collaboration with Rangers had entered into the final round and they would utilise all possible resources to eliminate robbers and proclaimed offenders. He said that sacrifices of martyred officers would not go to waste as the sacrifices had boosted the morale of the police force.
He directed the officers to accelerate the pace of ongoing operation in Kacha and there should be no hurdle to providing additional resources to the police force to make the operation a success.
