Seminar arranged on importance of mother tongues

CHITRAL: Speakers at a seminar stressed the need for more active role by media for providing primary education in mother tongues. Forum for Language Initiatives (FLI) had arranged the seminar for journalists. The FLI Executive Director Fakhrudin Akhundzada offered the services of his organisation for promotion of local languages.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr Inayatullah Faizi said that Chitral Press Club had played the vital role in promotion of local languages. He said that developed world had high literacy rate as they educate their children in their mother tongues.
